In a management reshuffle Tami Newcombe has been promoted to President of Tektronix, and Marc Tremblay who was named that role earlier this year is instead becoming President of Fluke. Both companies are owned by Fortive. Newcombe joined Tektronix in early 2017 as Commercial President and has been responsible for leading global sales and marketing.

In her elevated role, she will report to Pat Byrne, who previously served as President of Tektronix and is currently Senior Vice President at Fortive.

“Tami is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of Tektronix’ customers and products,” said Byrne. “As Commercial President, Tami delivered results, drove problem solving and innovation and demonstrated a strong ability to attract and develop high performing, customer obsessed teams. We’re excited about the continued impact she will make at Tektronix.”

Newcombe brought a diverse background to Tek when she joined having held positions in sales leadership, field sales, operations, marketing and engineering including Cisco where she held the role of Vice President for Cisco’s Commercial sales responsible for a $1.5bn business. Prior to Cisco, Newcombe held positions as a global client executive, sales engineer, product marketing engineer and development engineer at Analog Devices and IBM.

Marc Tremblay will report to Wes Pringle, SVP Fortive. Newcombe and Tremblay’s new roles are effective immediately.
