15th ITI Symposium puts green dot on innovative simulation solutions
ITI has today published the program for its 15th ITI Symposium held November 14-16, 2012, at the International Congress Centre Dresden. The event titled “Virtual development of energy efficient products” revolves around cross-industry applications of ITI’s simulation software SimulationX.
MoreThe diverse program stretches over three days packed with a well balanced mix of software and technology related presentations from ITI experts and users from the SimulationX community. The software presentations cover several topics on model based design, such as toolchains, new features in the latest SimulationX release 3.5, SimulationX real-time mode, CAD import, MS Office integration and more. Presentations from users put all this in a more practical context. They show SimulationX in real-life scenarios from the automotive industry, fluid technologies, mechanics, drive systems and HiL/real-time applications. New this year: sessions on “Mining and Off-Road” as well as “Green Building and Energy Engineering”. During the series “Mining and Off-Road”, SimulationX users provide insight into simulating, modeling and analyzing mobile machinery, bucket-wheel excavators and belt conveyors. “Green Building and Energy Engineering” focus on developing clean, reliable and efficient technologies for vehicles through to building facilities.

Attendees, in particular those who have never worked with SimulationX before, get the chance to take it out for a test drive on one of the provided demonstration PCs. As part of interactive workshops on the Tutorial Day, ITI engineers and SimulationX developers show off the latest software features and provide guidance for an efficient workflow with SimulationX. A featured exhibition introduces ITI partners and customers with their portfolios and successful projects.
