Silicon Labs and Broadband Technology Announce Nordic Partnership

Silicon Laboratories has announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Broadband Technology AB for the Nordic electronics market. Broadband Technology will serve as a strategic representative for Silicon Labs as the company expands its presence in the Nordics.
“We are excited to sign Broadband Technology as a Nordic representative for Silicon Labs,” said Vaughan Price, vice president of European sales and operations. “Broadband Technology has extensive knowledge and expertise in Silicon Labs’ product areas as well as strong relationships with key Nordic companies, which will allow them to quickly begin increasing revenue in this region.”

Silicon Labs’ high-performance products for the telecom and wireless markets complement Broadband Technology’s expertise in these areas to serve this growing application base. Silicon Labs offers highly-integrated wireline solutions including dual and quad ProSLIC® subscriber line interface circuits, Power over Ethernet devices, ISOmodem® embedded modems and a range of high performance Any-Rate programmable clocks and XOs/VCXOs. These products combined with the company’s extensive microcontroller (MCU) portfolio, broadcast audio solutions and power devices provide the smallest and most cost-effective solutions for telephony, voice over broadband and data transmission equipment in the telecom, datacom and wireless markets.

Broadband Technology is based in Stockholm, Sweden with an additional office in Espoo, Finland.
