Seika Machinery, Inc. to Present Green Technologies for SMT at SMTAI 2011
Seika Machinery, Inc. announces that Daido Sawairi, Corporate Officer of Sawa Corporation, will present a paper titled “Japanese Green Technologies for SMT” at the upcoming SMTA International Conference & Exhibition, scheduled to take place October 18-19, 2011 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX. The presentation will be held during Session SMT6, titled “Critical Cleaning and the Environment,” which will take place Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 2-3 p.m. in room 202C. Sawairi co-authored the paper with Michelle Ogihara, Seika Machinery’s Senior Sales Manager.
JapaJapanese government introduced several environmental protection laws in the 1970s covering urban air pollution, waste management, nature conservation, climate change and chemical management among others.
In terms of the electronics assembly market, there are varieties of green technology products developed in Japan to address some of the concerns and limits if not driven by the legislation above, than upon popular consumer demand. The presentation will discuss the unique, green-technology products that provide assemblers with solutions that not only assist the Japanese electronics assembler in saving costs during their process, but also are helpful to the environment and can be used globally for the benefit of the industry as a whole.
