Richardson RFPD At PCIM Europe 2013
Richardson RFPD has today announced its attendance and participation at the 2013 Power Conversion Intelligent Motion Europe exhibition. PCIM is Europe's leading meeting-point for specialists in power electronics and its applications in intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management.
WHall 7, Stand 462
Nuremberg Messe, Nuremberg, Germany
WHEN
May 14-16, 2013
WHAT
At the exhibition, Richardson RFPD will feature a selection of Silicon Carbide discrete devices and modules, including Schottky diodes and MOSFETs, as well as SiC and hybrid modules from industry-leading manufacturers Cree, Microsemi, Mitsubishi, Powerex and Vincotech. A compact, high efficiency, full SiC 3.5kW power supply will also be displayed at the Richardson RFPD stand.
Silicon carbide offers significant advantages in high power, high voltage applications where power density, higher performance and reliability are of the utmost importance. Industrial applications like solar inverters, welding, plasma cutters, fast vehicle chargers, and oil exploration are a few examples that benefit from the higher breakdown field strength and improved thermal conductivity that SiC offers over silicon material.
Additional information about Richardson RFPD's SiC suppliers and products may be found at its newly-launched Silicon Carbide website resource.
Richardson RFPD design advisors will also be at the booth, offering support and solutions for attendees' design visions and questions.
