Norway’s projectiondesign will return to the European Airline Training Symposium 2012 to demonstrate the FL35 wqxga ReaLED projector.
In a breathtaking display, the FL35 wqxga projector will be integrated with the RSI XT4 Level ‘D’ Image Generator showing the very latest in high performance PC-based visual systems. Content displayed will be Level D airports and high-density cityscape.

The system will also be demonstrated integrated with the Image Generator and Quadrant NUQLEUS unit and Instructor Control Panel with full user control of the Image Generator including, cloud layers, runway lighting and other features.

“The solution is perfect for new and upgraded visual systems in civil aviation,” explains Maria Dahl Aagaard, Product Marketing Manager at projectiondesign. “With no lamps, our 2nd generation patented solid-state ReaLED illumination provides up to 100,000 hours of life time expectancy, which drastically reduces maintenance requirements. Also, the 2560 x 1600 native resolution is the only alternative to achieving 45-degrees vertical field of view, which improves the out the window view for pilots.”
