PREMO highlight at CeBIT 2010 its latest innovations for the ICT sector
PREMO has successfully participated at the CeBIT 2010, the largest technology exhibition in the field of innovation on information technology and telecommunications, which took place in Hannover (Germany) on 2-6 March and has received Spain as Guest Country.
The opening ceremony was attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, on behalf of Spain.
The event has hosted a total of 4,170 exhibitors from 86 different countries at 40,157 meters square. Spain, as a Partner Country in this edition of CeBIT, has taken a leading role and increased participation of exhibitors at the fair of the 20 common in previous years to 72 in this 2010. Concentrated in seven halls, in an area of 3,000 square meters, Spanish companies have showed their most innovative services and solutions.
PREMO, an international leader in low frequency RFID antennas, introduced at CEBIT 2010 it newest Witech radio modules, true ultra-low-power and high performance radio communication modules for applications that require reliable radio link (range up to 1km, without obstacles) in the 868MHz and 915MHz bands. The main applications are, Automatic Meter Reading Networks (AMR), for water, electricity and gas, general purpose Ad-hoc sensor networks, Solar panels monitoring networks, Real Time Location System, Crane remote monitoring, Healthcare and wellness network, Weather stations, etc,.
These devices have excellent versatility, when integrated into a final product can be configured in radio networks, thereby becoming the key component to solve air-interface communications protocol and good up-down link with high transmission capability.
These modules were also presented at Embedded World 2010 trade fair, exhibition and conference world largest in terms of integrated technologies, which took place on March 2-4 in Nuremberg, Germany. PREMO participated together with its sales representative in Germany, Ineltek.
