Peter Schmidt becomes Tundra's Director of European Sales
Tundra Semiconductor has announced that Peter Schmidt has been appointed Director European Sales, effective immediately. Tundra continues to grow its customer base in the European communications and computing storage markets and is committed to being aligned geographically with customers and to providing the best support and products for their ongoing success.
Mr. Germany is a natural choice for Tundra's European regional office because it is a central location to Europe and many of the world's largest wireless and wireline infrastructure companies are headquartered in, or in close proximity to, Germany.
Mr. Schmidt has spent more than 20 years contributing to some of Europe's most successful technology companies in various product design, business development and management roles. Among the companies that Mr. Schmidt has been involved in; Siemens AG, VLSI Technology, Infineon Technologies AG, and most recently as Senior Area Executive at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing. Mr. Schmidt's demonstrated achievement, delivering exceptional service to customers and increasing revenue, will add considerable strength to Tundra's growth strategy in this key market.
