Low Cost Miniature Inertial Navigation System
Inertial Aerosystems is introducing a new low cost miniature navigation system that is capable of positioning within 5 metres (SEP). Designated the MMQ-G, it is manufactured by U.S.based Systron Donner Inertial. This product is an innovative combination of a solid state inertial measurement unit and a Jupiter PICO (GPS) receiver.
The Weighing less than. .227 kg and size 47.6Lx47.6Wx64.8mmH, it is ideal where space and weight are at a premium. Low power consumption of less than 5 watts at 12VDC, it has an operating temperature range of -40 to 71 degrees C. Equipped with an RS-232 digital interface, the MMQ-G uses the established C-MIGITS 111 Message Based output format.
