NEC Electronics Europe further extends relationship with Industrial Market

NEC Electronics Europe held its second Industrial Open Day which took place in Barcelona from 16th-18th October 2008. This unique event brought together over one hundred market-leading customers and allowed them to experience first hand NEC Electronics’ latest technology developments, thus providing a platform for continued partnership into the next decade and beyond.
The Industrial Open Day was hosted by key senior NEC Electronics representatives from Europe, Japan and America, who demonstrated the advancements in technology solutions that meet the visions of the Industrial market. The event highlighted development of semiconductor and TFT-LCD products, alongside key aspects such as corporate strategies, globalisation and environmentally friendly manufacturing. NEC were also joined by independent analysts and industry experts from the fields of Industrial Networking, Environmental Services and Healthcare.

The event was backed by an interactive exhibition for the key sectors of Motor Control, Building Management, Industrial Automation and Healthcare and incorporated demonstrations of the latest technology solutions within Microcontrollers, ASIC, ASSP, Wired & Wireless Communications, Power Management, Sensors, TFT-LCD, Fibre Optics and Microwave devices.
