NEW Events unveils that National Electronics Week 2014 is taking place from 8th – 10th April, in Hall 2 of The NEC in Birmingham for another year. NEW UK is a dynamic event that offers electronics professionals in-depth product knowledge and added value to develop within the electronics sector. The UK electronics industry is a world leader within this field and NEW UK is the only show in this country dedicated solely to this area of expertise.
For this reason, NEW UK is ideal for anyone operating in the electronics industry and provides organisations with the chance to share ideas, learn about the latest technologies and network with other professionals.

With leading companies in the design, embedded, EMS, SMT, component manufacturing and distribution sectors present at the show, NEW UK offers a host of opportunities to give businesses a good platform to operate in this sector. With pre-registration for the show now live, NEW UK features a number of compelling opportunities for organisations wanting to discover more about Rapid Prototyping, R&D, innovation, production, speed, reliability, IP and quality - all essential elements of the modern UK electronics industry.

Running under the umbrella brand of National Electronics Week there will be 4 sub events, designed to give exhibitors their own area within the larger show and have a specific identity – and to give visitors a clearly defined, colour coded event so they can find who they want to see easily and therefore maximise their time spent at the event. The 4 sectors are Components & Power, Design & Test, Embedded & Software and Production & EMS, each sector will have a seminar theatre with tailored content, there will also be live features on the show floor supported by key industry brands. Other highlights from the event will include new product and application launches and the chance to interact with UK and international exhibitors present at the show. On top of this, National Electronics Week 2014 will offer the opportunity to visit one of the other 6 co-located relevant industry events which include MACH and Drives and Controls.

Claire Saunders, Director of NEW Events, commented: “Now with National Electronics Week running every other year in this format this is a great opportunity for the UK Electronics industry to come together and make lasting networks for their organisations that will stand them in good stead for years to come. National Electronics Week UK provides organisations with the chance to learn about the most up to date technologies within the electronics sector, helping to ensure those who attend are up to speed with all new advancements in the industry. Featuring everything from 4 extensive seminar programmes through to live features on the show floor, NEW UK 2014 looks set to attract a wide variety of electronics professionals to the show. Spaces for the event will fill up quickly and pre-registration is now up and running, so I would recommend that people register for the show immediately to avoid disappointment.”
