Napatech today announced the opening of a new office in Tokyo, Japan. This follows the opening of our new office in Washington D.C. and Napatech’s entry into India earlier this year. “We are seeing strong demand in the Japanese market for our products, where Japanese OEM vendors have long been at the forefront of developments in IP and broadband in general”, said Henrik Brill Jensen, CEO, Napatech. “In this regard our products are a perfect fit in addressing the challenges of building appliances capable of analyzing and securing 10 Gbps IP networks.”
/> The new Napatech office will provide local sales and support to the growing number of Napatech customers in Japan.

“We have been surprised at how quickly our activities in Japan have grown where we have good traction with some of the largest players. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer in-country sales and technical support for this market”, said Thomas Jorgensen VP Sales APAC. “The opening of the office in Tokyo also marks our initiative to focus more attention on the needs of both new & existing Asian customers, in markets such as India, Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia”, added Jorgensen.

Napatech’s recently released 20 Gbps intelligent network adapter, the NT20E2, proving to be popular with Japanese customers targeting a variety of applications from packet capture and network analysis to traffic generation and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
