Motion29 has, after 6 years in business, outgrown its original unit in Woodfieldside Business Park and moved to a larger capacity office in Tram Road Industrial Estate in the same town of Pontllanfraith, Blackwood, Wales.

The business which is owned and run by former Woodhead Connectivity colleagues, Andrew Wilkinson and Steve Fisher, serves the manufacturing, automation and processing industries. They are well known for providing bespoke solutions as well as being UK wide stockist of international brands, Patlite, Jay Electronique, Shield, Hummel and Bircher amongst others.

The move to Tram Road comes a year after the company announced that it had more than doubled its turnover in the last four years of trading, despite starting out in business on the verge of a recession.

Andrew Wilkinson comments, “the move signifies a crucial new stage for Motion29. For some time now we have realised that the need for a new premises would soon become imminent as our client base and turnover continued to grow.

“Aside from the organisational complexities of moving, it was difficult leaving our first unit as it was where we started the business back in 2006. However, we are now settled into our new premises and can already see the advantages of having more space and improved resources, and the benefits this brings to our customers.”

Motion29 now employs a team of four and is planning to extend its existing range of products (including connectors, signal towers, safety edges and industrial remote controls) in the coming months.

Motion29's new business address is:
3 Tram Road Industrial Estate
Pontllanfraith
Blackwood
NP12 2LA
UK

Motion29’s UK phone number is not changing and remains 08450 942510.
