MIRTEC Co. LTD, “The Global Leader in Inspection Technology,” reports continued growth in sales revenue for its North American Sales and Service Division for 2011. “We are extremely pleased that sales revenue for our North American Division in 2011 continues to significantly outpace that of 2010,” stated Chanwha Pak, CEO. “We are delighted to report that H1 sales revenue grew by an impressive 43 percent with respect to that of H1 2010.”
When asked to provide insight into market trends that have contributed to this remarkable growth, Brian D’Amico, president of MIRTEC Corp stated, “Advancements within the manufacturing industry have led to ever increasing PCB density and complexity. As a direct result of this phenomenon, a growing number of EMS providers are beginning to invest in new SMT manufacturing equipment capable of meeting today’s higher standards of productivity and accuracy. As the manufacturing process becomes more complex, there is an ever increasing probability for defects to occur on finished PCB assemblies. This provides an equal level of complexity for the inspection process. With this in mind, manufacturers have become ever more selective in purchasing new AOI technology that will provide them with a much needed competitive edge in dealing with their most demanding production requirements.”

“We at MIRTEC are extremely focused upon advancements within the electronics manufacturing industry,” continued D’Amico. “Our company invests heavily in Research and Development, persistently focused on using state-of-the-art optics, lighting and laser technology to develop the industry’s most technologically advanced inspection solutions. This, combined with an extremely talented team of sales and support professionals, has resulted in our continued expansion of market share throughout North America.”
