Microlease has gained top independently assessed certifications for environmental management, information security and health and safety alongside its existing ISO9001 Quality Management certification.  The company believes it is the first rental company to achieve a ‘full house’ of ISO14001 for Environmental Management, ISO27001 for Information Security, OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety and ISO9001.

The new certifications apply to Microlease’s operation in EMEA whilst ISO9001 has been held globally for a number of years.

Wayne Harris, EMEA Operations Director, commented, “Increasingly, customers are looking beyond quality of service and, as part of their corporate social responsibility remit, seek assurance that they are dealing with an ethical supply chain. This includes verifying that their suppliers show respect for the environment, their staff and the information that they hold.

He continued, “Microlease has monitored its performance in all three of these areas for a number of years. We have now submitted our working practices to an independent audit and are delighted to have achieved demanding internationally recognized standards. Customers can be assured that Microlease is working to high environmental standards, is providing a safe working environment for its staff, and is properly protecting the information that it holds.”
