MathWorks invites you to join leading engineers in aerospace and automotive industries to exchange ideas, share applications and learn how MATLAB® and Simulink® are being used to deliver the highest levels of design assurance.
MathWorks is hosting a free conference focussing on high-integrity software and systems. The event, aimed at new and existing users of MATLAB and Simulink, will provide an opportunity to meet with fellow engineers and MathWorks experts to learn how Model-Based Design can be applied to the development of high-integrity systems and software. This approach enables the engineer to use executable specifications, automate verification and validation and generate code which supports the reduction of development time, improves design quality and enhances innovation.

When: Tuesday, 1 November 2011, Where: Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel, South Gloucestershire. http://tortworth-court-hotel.four-pillars.co.uk/

Who: Keynote speaker – Jon Bennett, capability leader for systems and missile design, MBDA UK

• Andrew Bennett, principal engineer, MathWorks
• Mirko Conrad, Simulink certification and standards manager, MathWorks
• Mark Walker, pilot engineer, MathWorks

What:
Learn how Model-Based Design can be used to develop high-integrity applications
See how MathWorks technologies can be used to verify correct behaviour and optimise code running on production hardware, ensure conformance to design standards and establish traceability.
Understand how leading companies such as Thales, Ricardo and Delphi use MathWorks technology to achieve the highest levels of design assurance.

Why:
Gain an insight into how leading organisations apply the process of Model-Based Design for the development of high-integrity systems and the benefits they’ve experienced
Understand how key verification activities required by international development standards can be achieved by using MathWorks tools
