Make a DATE with Toshiba to find out more about latest CMOS technologies
Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) is offering visitors to this year’s DATE exhibition the opportunity to meet experts from the company’s ASIC & Foundry Business Unit and discuss all aspects of their design, implementation, production and supply chain requirements.
ToshThe TEE ASIC & Foundry Business Unit’s open and advanced Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM) model allows customers to speed development and reduce risk by choosing a single partner for design, implementation, production and full-service supply chain management. The company offers a wide range of leading edge CMOS solutions based on Toshiba’s own process developments. These include the mass production of 90nm and 65nm technologies, with 45nm and 32nm in development. Customised SoC development is supported through a broad lineup of Intellectual Property (IP), including in-house and third party analogue and digital IP, ARM and MIPS processors, and embedded memory options.
To speed application development Toshiba offers local competence and support through its European LSI Design and Engineering Centre (ELDEC). ELDEC’s highly skilled engineers have many years of experience in EDA, analogue development and design, implementation and layout. In addition, short development Turn-Around-Time (TAT) and low risk is assured thanks to flexible SoC design methodologies, optimised factory processes and professional project management.

Commenting on how important being at DATE is to Toshiba, Eugen Pfumfel, a Principal Engineer for SoC market and application development, states: “We want to promote our design and production services for ASIC and Foundry to Europe’s leading R&D specialists and decision makers and there is no better place to do this than DATE. The offers a truly unique conference that brings together the brightest PhD graduates, experienced designers from leading industry organisations and a variety of other supplier companies and third parties. At the same time, the surrounding exhibition informs the industry about news and trends that have a direct impact on current and future design and development.”
