Link Microtek, the Basingstoke-based supplier of RF and microwave components, subsystems and instrumentation, has made a significant expansion to its sales force with the appointment of four new personnel. Responding to increased demand for the company’s products and services, Link has appointed three new sales engineers and an internal sales administrator.
Ed Yeap joins the company from Mini Circuits and in his role as sales engineer will be concentrating on Link’s portfolio of high-volume surface-mount products.
Malcolm Butt has been appointed as sales engineer for the West and Ireland. Having worked for Wessex Electronics for many years, he has a great deal of experience in the microwave market and brings particular expertise in amplifier components.
The third appointment is Graham Bird, who comes to Link from Aspen Electronics and will be the company’s key account manager in the South. He has over 20 years’ experience in the UK and European electronics markets.
Strengthening Link’s internal sales administration will be Linda Cross, who has a good track record in similar roles at both Acal Controls and Ashling Microsystems.
