The Light Tape® product offers practical, economical decorative solutions for use in many aspects of Interior and exterior Architectural lighting Design and more. Snap-N-Light application and LumaGrip™ stair nosing products feature as prime examples of the more obvious uses of Light Tape®, but Light Tape® can also provide alternative lighting solutions for use in Architecture and Interior Design but also for: Exhibitions, Events, Point of Sale, Hotels, Bars, Restaurants, Safety Clothing, Emergency Egress and Health and Safety.

What is Light Tape? - Light Tape® is made up of metal ribbon coated in Sylvania phosphor and encapsulated in a Honeywell laminate. Light Tape® has no glass, no gas, and no mercury/heavy metals and so is user and environment friendly. Light Tape® provides an 85% - 90% energy saving against other commercially available light sources such as Neon and Cold Cathode. Light Tape uses 1 Watt per Meter at 25mm (1”) wide, a 100m length of 25mm wide Light Tape® only uses the same power as a 100w light bulb. Due to its ultra thin profile of less than 1mm Light Tape® provides a neater, modern, space saving alliterative that is easy to install with little to no maintenance and has a long working life of up to 40,000 hours.

Snap-N-Light - is the easy to install display lighting system for building decoration applications.

Snap-N-Light is the perfect solution for fixing the Light Tape® in place and providing protection from the elements. It is extremely user friendly and consists of Mounting clips and Light Tape® already encased in clear plastic extrusion, wired and ready for installation providing an IP68 rating coupled with an ultra low carbon footprint.

LumaGrip™ - Illuminated stair nosings have been available for many years using LEDs but they have always been bulky, complicated, high maintenance and expensive. LumaGrip™ is set to change this with a range of illuminated inserts that replace existing infill in standard aluminium and PVC nosings. LumaGrip™ also comes with the added benefits of having a higher anti-slip rating and a glare free illumination.

The DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) has recently been updated to provide extra protection to the Partially Sighted, putting emphasis on both the illumination of Stairs and making columns and pillars in public areas more visually apparent. Light Tape can assist in both these areas with cost effective simple solutions.

LumaGrip™ uses Light Tape’s patented electroluminescent technology combined with a transparent, anti slip 50mm wide tread that is illuminated without glare and can be seen when going both up and down the stairs.
