According to the Twelfth Five-Year Special Plan for LED Technological Development issued recently by the Ministry of Science and Technology, by 2015, the scale of LED industry will reach 500 billion Yuan, with 50 pilot model cities of “Achievements Show of Ten Pilot Cities” and 20 distinctive industrialization bases of strong innovation ability established. The LED industry, which has been developing rapidly, will continue fueling the growth of electronics manufacturing equipment. NEPCON South China 2012 will take place between August 28 and August 30, 2012 in Shenzhen, will be lightened by LED.

For the Chinese market, electronics enterprises from all over the world are expecting to occupy the commanding height in this quickly expanding new market. As a result, waves of fierce competition are bound to affect the development strategies of all electronics enterprises. Facing a market of 500 billion Yuan, global LED manufacturers will spare no effort to earn a place of their own and, in this regard, NEPCON South China 2012 will serve as an ideal stage for the various applications in the LED field.

After years of continuous effort, SMT has become rather mature in the application of LED. In terms of LED chip manufacturing and LED packaging, SMT equipment manufacturers have made constant innovations in their technology. It is learned that NEPCON South China 2012 will invite numerous professionals from LED backlight module, LED display, LED lamp and streetlight manufacturing to visit and purchase.

As the main production base of LED, South China is driving the promotion of the SMT manufacturing industry while maintaining the sustained growth. Experts point out that based on the expectation of LED’s fast growth, applications in the LED field will become the focus of NEPCON South China 2012. Josephine Lee, Senior Vice President of Reed Exhibitions, said, “Preliminary data provided by the exhibitors show that various new applications targeted at LED will be unleashed to the fullest during this year’s NEPCON South China.” It is reported that a group of electronics equipment manufacturers such as Evest and Xinya Electronics will display their LED applications at NEPCON South China 2012.

Reed Exhibitions has successfully held numerous LED-relevant exhibitions, resulting in significant influence within the industry. Exhibitors of the last NEPCON South China praised, “The visit and purchase of manufacturers from LED backlight module, LED display, LED lamp and streetlight manufacturing have created huge market opportunities for us.” Additionally, many professional visitors maintained, “We need better electronic production equipment to meet competitive demands, and NEPCON South China in this connection helps us make it.”

Josephine Lee stated, “The impending NEPCON South China will not only unfold the innovative SMT products and technology that traditionally attract our attention, but also constantly extend the application in the LED field.” In addition to LED, NEPCON South China 2012 will exhibit products from other relevant industries, including the most advanced SMT equipment, state-of-the-art technology, as well as test and measurement, soldering, electrostatic discharge (ESD), electronics manufacturing services (EMS), machine vision (MV), tool and robot sectors, and more, presenting the entire industrial chain of the electronics manufacturing industry in South China in an all-around way.

NEPCON South China 2012 will span a massive 38,000 sqm, which is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions to participate in exhibition as well as more than 28,000 industry elites and buyers to engage in exchange. Featuring over 1,000 types of electronics manufacturing equipment, products for testing and measurement and relevant components, it will present industry visitors with the most advanced electronics manufacturing equipment and the most cutting edge electronics manufacturing technology.
