Lauterbach expands its Sales and Support Network in China

Lauterbach announced the opening of a new technical support center in Shenzhen, China. This new office is in addition to the existing offices in Beijing and Suzhou and has been found to be necessary due the size of the Chinese territory.
/> The South of China, particularly Guangdong Province, represents almost 30% of Lauterbach′s Chinese customer base with its many high tech design centers along the Shenzhen - Guangzhou corridor. Lauterbach considers it very important to be close to their customers to provide a professional level of support. The Shenzhen office is primarily focusing on supporting design engineers in the debugging of complex, often multi-core implementations for communications, automotive and medical applications.

The communication market, specifically the design of handheld devices, is under extreme time pressure. Every day counts in getting the new product to the market. says Tom Meyer, General Manager of Lauterbach in China, This pressure together with significantly increased semiconductor complexity such as multi-core implementations, demands the most advanced development tools which only Lauterbach can provide.

To operate and program the appropriate debugging and trace tools requires very comprehensive knowledge and skills. The main task of Lauterbach′s office in Shenzhen will be to provide training and on-site hands-on consultancy to our customers in these demanding development projects.

We are very happy to get even closer to our customers in the South of China, says Norbert Weiss, International Sales and Marketing Manager at Lauterbach in Germany, Many of our customer′s design centers are within a few hours travel from our office, thus our people can be on-site very quickly when needed.
