Lantronix appoints two ACAL Group companies

ACAL Technology and ACAL IT have entered into a sales distribution agreement with US-based Lantronix (NASDAQ: LTRX). This agreement establishes ACAL as one of Lantronix's European Master Distributors providing value added resellers with a local distributor in the region.
Specifically ACAL Semiconductors (part of ACAL Technology) will distribute the Lantronix line of embedded and external device networking solutions whilst ACAL Networks (part of ACAL IT) will distribute the Lantronix line of IT management technologies.

Through this relationship ACAL will provide local support, product availability and in-region shipping capabilities making it even easier for resellers and partners to do business with Lantronix. In addition, ACAL will provide marketing, logistics, customer and project support throughout the European region.

“Lantronix is committed to the European market and providing our reseller partners with the best local distribution and support resources available,” said Brad Painter, vice president of worldwide channel sales for Lantronix. “Joining forces with ACAL provides our solution providers and resellers with the opportunity to work with a true value-added distributor who furnishes the logistical, professional, and technical support they require.”

Lantronix device networking solutions provide designers the ability to manage virtually any electronic device over a network or the Internet. The company’s embedded Ethernet and embedded 802.11 wireless modules enable original equipment manufacturers to add remote access, monitoring and management capabilities to their products. With external serial-to-Ethernet and 802.11 wireless device networking products, customers are able to put existing equipment on the network quickly and easily.
