Kyzen together with Aqueous Technologies Corp., North America’s largest provider of batch defluxing systems, recently held a successful technical workshop titled “Cleaning Electronic Assemblies” on two separate days in Dallas and Houston, Texas. The workshops were very well attended with more than 50 attendees.
“The Texas Cleaning Workshops were a clean and cool break from the Texas heat and drought. Both workshops were very well attended with a variety of engineering disciplines and companies from all sizes (Tier 1 to Tier 3). All of the attendees were involved in each of the technical presentations and left with an increased knowledge of the cleaning process,” commented Rich Brooks, Kyzen’s Southwestern Regional Manager.

Featured speakers included Aqueous Technologies’ President Michael Konrad, Kyzen’s CTO Dr. Mike Bixenman, and Forsite Inc.’s Eric Camden. The removal of flux and other process residues is among the fastest growing yet least understood processes in electronic assembly industry today. The one-day “Cleaning Electronic Assemblies” technical workshop answered many common questions about cleaning.
