Juki Automation Systems, Inc. announces that it has invited a leading supplier to the electronics industry and one of its premier customers – ACD – to join its 25k tour and celebration. The tour will include three Juki manufacturing facilities located in Akita, Japan, the JISSO PROTEC 2012 exhibition, and the celebration of the 25,000th shipment worldwide.
W. Scott Fillebrown, President & CEO of ACD will join the tour as a special guest of Juki Automation Systems. “Buying our Juki machines was a game changer for ACD, bringing us into the high-volume EMS marketplace. We are pleased to be a part of the celebration for this monumental achievement for Juki,” commented Fillebrown.

ACD’s two Juki lines each consist of two FX-3XL chip shooters and one KE-3020XL flexible placer. With its medium- to high-volume Juki lines, ACD averages 1.5 turns per day. The Juki lines have the capability to perform prototypes or small batch runs, and this flexibility allows ACD to process complex builds back-to-back with very little down time.

ACD is a leading EMS provider in Texas offering turnkey services from concept to delivery, from design, fabrication, domestic and offshore assembly, final test and box build. The company’s services comprise complete board layout, DFM/DFA capability, printed circuit fabrication, component procurement, through-hole, SMT and part-on-part mixed technology assembly, box build, rework, flying probe, functional and JTAG test, and development.
