Ismosys, officially launched in March 09 as a new demand creation vehicle of the Spectrum Electronics Group, has extended its pan-European network with the establishment of an operation in Israel, based in Gedera South of Tel Aviv.
Headed by Nitzan Dolev, Ismosys Israel will introduce and support emerging technological innovators and their products, including ESS Technology www.esstech.com (VoiP, Audio DAC, DTMF); LS Research www.lsr.com (Zigbee modules, wireless R&D resources (IDH)), Airgain www.airgain.com (state of the art embedded antennas) and ZMDI www.zmdi.com (ASICs, application specific sensors & ADCs). Ismosys will also seek to establish and develop partnerships with Israel’s domestic electronics design and semiconductor innovators with a view to introducing their products to the wider European market using other operations in the Ismosys network.

According to David Thomas, Ismosys Director of Strategic Business Development, Israel has an interesting design TAM, with many companies extending frontiers in the datacoms/telecoms, mobile-medical and security sectors: “We have been aware of the potential of the Israeli market for a number of years, and we believe our Ismosys (International Sales, Marketing and Operations System) concept has a great deal to offer to the country’s electronics engineering community”, Thomas said. “I am delighted to welcome Nitzan Dolev to the Ismosys network. He offers the right combination of technical, commercial and international management skills that will lead our team to great success in Israel.”
