Intersil Receives ISO/TS16949 Certification

Intersil announced it has been awarded the prestigious ISO/TS16949:2002 certification for the Intersil manufacturing facilities in Milpitas, CA, Palm Bay, FL and Munich, Germany. Receiving this award validates Intersil's commitment to proactively and continuously strive for quality improvements, and to consistently deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

ISO/TS16949 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system that is recognized by the customer members of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). ISO/TS16949 includes ISO9001 and provides additional requirements for the automotive industry. This certification is one of the key requirements to engage with automotive customers.
