Hitachi TFT display modules on show at Electronica 2010

Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group (DPG) will be represented at the Electronica 2010 trade show by local distributors. Data Modul and Glyn will be exhibiting Hitachi’s leading-edge In-Plane-Switching (IPS) LCD technology and Hitachi’s recently introduced range of value added LCD display solutions featuring performance enhancing glass bonding technology.
Hitachi is a leading global developer and manufacturer of liquid crystal display modules. With an established heritage of LCD innovation Hitachi is able to offer a comprehensive range of TFT LCD modules. Data Modul and Glyn will be exhibiting a line up of Hitachi’s latest medium size TFT LCDs featuring In-Plane-switching (IPS) wide viewing angle technology, LED backlighting and wide aspect ratio display formats. Additionally, recent developments in optical glass bonding techniques has now enabled Hitachi TFT LCD display modules to offer excellent readability in demanding ambient light conditions. This feature enhances the provision of TFT display solutions across a wider range of environments and applications. Optical bonding technology has been successfully implemented on TFT displays used in challenging environments such as aerospace, marine, automotive, medical and industrial. It is also being viewed as a key display enhancement technology for facilitating the development of emerging products and designs.

Electronica is the world’s leading international trade show for the electronic components, systems, applications and technologies. The latest innovations and developments in semiconductors, passives, displays, sensor solutions, power supplies, electromechanical components, electronic design and system solutions will be presented on the show floor, in conferences and exhibition forums. Electronica 2010 is being held from November 9th to 12th 2010 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.
