Hamamatsu Introduces the New ORCA-Flash2.8 Scientific CMOS Camera and ORCA-D2 Dual CCD Camera
Hamamatsu Photonics is at Microscience 2010 exhibition (29th June – 1st July, ExCeL Centre, London) and offer a live demonstration of both the new and innovative ORCA-Flash2.8, our first high-sensitivity digital camera based on a next-generation Scientific CMOS image sensor and the ORCA-D2, a ground-breaking dual CCD camera which enables simultaneous dual-wavelength imaging that features two CCD devices and interchangeable optical blocks.
The ORCA-D2 offers exceptional ease of use with optical setup steps such as image alignment and focusing. As an added advantage over conventional ratio imaging techniques, the ORCA-D2 also provides a wide field of view during dual wavelength imaging and is suitable for a wide variety of fluorescence microscopy applications including ratio imaging, FRET and dual wavelength TIRF.
