Fairchild Semiconductor Technologists to Present Future Trends in Power Electronics at PCIM China

Fairchild Semiconductor technologists will join experts from industry and academia in presenting papers on the latest developments and the future trends in power electronics at The Power Conversion, Intelligent Motion (PCIM) China Conference to be held in Shanghai from June 1-3, 2010.
Fairchild technologist Robert Krause will present Optimizing Power MOSFETs and IGBTs’ Common Mode and Differential Mode Noise Rejection. This paper focuses on the operation of high power MOSFETs and IGBTs in multi-phase power conversion applications and how to optimize noise immunity.

Fairchild technologists Albert Chen, Charlie Wang, Bell Zhong and Jason Sun will present The Design and Implementation of High Efficiency Power Structures for LED Street Lights. This paper will explore the history and development of LED street light applications and the important role that power supplies play in these applications.

Fairchild technologist Eric Zhang will present Online Parameter Estimation for Position Sensorless PMSM Control. This paper delves into a parameter estimation method for permanent synchronous motor (PMSM) control.

Eric Lan, Vice President of Marketing & Application, Asia Pacific, will chair a session on IGBTs.
