Fairchild Semiconductor Receives Best Supplier Award from Eaton Asia Pacific
Fairchild Semiconductor recently received the 2011 Best Supplier Award from Eaton Asia Pacific, a US based company with regional headquarters in Shanghai. Eaton has more than 30 years experience as a component supplier for single and three-phase UPS, telecom equipment, and inverters for the PV and consumer segments. The key criteria for the Best Supplier Award were customer service, prompt delivery, product quality and reliability, cost management, and innovative solutions and support. Fairchild satisfied all of these requirements including an exceptional quality level of 0 Defective Parts per Million (DPPM) and an On-Time-Delivery (OTD) rating of 98.01 percent, leading Eaton to rank Fairchild as its number one semiconductor supplier.
FairIn total, use of Fairchild components represented a cost savings of U.S. $214,000 for Eaton's PV business in 2010.
The 2011 Best Supplier Award recognises Fairchild's leadership within the electronics sector of Greater China, and highlights their strengths in management, communication, efficiency and ability to work as a partner.
