Extended Temperature Gigabit Discrete Isolation Transformer Modules
Leading electronic components distributor Focus EDL has introducesd dual-port and the first quad-port extended-temperature gigabit discrete isolation transformer modules. With an operating temperature range of -40 to +85º C, these modules are well-suited for industrial and ruggedised Ethernet and military computer, telecommunications, and networking applications.
ProdThese modules are guaranteed to meet coplanarity of 0.005 inches (5 mils). The solder bump grid array interconnection enables high input/output (I/O) density, fits in a small footprint, and can be applied with SMT assembly, further reducing costs. Inner layers of the PCB can be used for routing because there is not a high density of through-hole pins. In addition, these modules enable very reliable and high-yield interconnects.Pulse's extended-temperature Quattro and Dos modules provide electrical circuit isolation to safeguard against electrical shock and reduce noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI) to maintain signal integrity. These RoHS and IEEE 802.3 compliant parts have also been tested and validated by top-tier gigabit integrated circuit vendors
