The EnOcean Alliance, together with supporting partners Alpha Micro, Ecologix Controls and EnOcean, will show an impressive portfolio of wireless products on stand S400 at Ecobuild, 20-22 March 2012, ExCel London.
EnOcean energy harvesting wireless technology enables simple integration into OEM end products. In green buildings, integrators can install devices based on EnOcean self-powered wireless sensors quickly and easily, resulting in unique flexibility, zero maintenance, and measurable energy and cost savings

EnOcean’s Energy harvesting wireless technology offers the broadest compatibility with existing technical standards and users benefit from guaranteed interoperability from end manufacturers. By combining a comprehensive training programme with an extensive portfolio of design and development platforms, EnOcean has created a huge following in a very short time. The EnOcean Alliance now comprises over 250 members companies from 20 different countries and offers over 750 interoperable devices

The following partner companies will be sharing the EnOcean Alliance stand:

Alpha Micro, an independent franchised distributor of electronic components, will display wireless industrial automation solutions from Radin Radio Controls. Alpha Micro and Radin will demonstrate the patented Radin Controller with integrated EnOcean TCM 300 transceiver module. The Radin Controller can be paired with any EnOcean-based switch or gateway for applications where the flow of liquid or gas needs to be stopped wirelessly or resumed remotely and safely, for example by mobile phone The distributor has extensive expertise in energy management, building management and industrial communications. Its in-house software and hardware engineering group offers a comprehensive technical package ranging from simple application support through to complete, bespoke design.

Ecologix Controls, one of the Alliance’s newest members, will be presenting a self-powered CO2, temperature and humidity sensor t alongside its Eco-Sphere Energy Manager. These products allow users to streamline the operational costs of their buildings, meet regulatory compliance, manage operating risks and drive sustainability. All products are fully EnOcean compliant, easy and low cost to install and, where possible, operate entirely without batteries, making them maintenance-free.

EnOcean GmbH demonstrate ECO 200, the third generation of its mechanical energy converters. Combined with the PTM 330 transmitter module the result is an entire system for batteryless wireless operations. This new pairing creates an optimum basis for speedy and simple implementation of energy harvesting switching solutions. EnOcean again shows the way for new ideas for self-powered wireless switching elements – in building automation, in industry and in household appliances. At the Elektra Awards 2011, held in London in December, EnOcean received the Product Innovation award for its ECT 310 ultra low power DC/DC converter for harvesting thermal energy. The ECT 310 module secured a winning margin of more than 26% in an Electronics Weekly readers’ poll.
