EDA Solutions and Europractice will be running a practical training course on Europractice Design Kits for the latest Tanner IC Design Tools. The two day course will be held in four European locations this Autumn and will cover various aspects of mixed-signal ASIC design.
Day one of the course will feature presentations and a workshop introducing Tanner EDA software and Europractice services, foundries and process design kits. A design flow demo using Tanner Tools will also be given. Hands-on training will be given on day two of the course, which is split into two parts. Part one is on electrical design and covers schematic entry and simulation. Part two, covering physical design, will include training on ASIC layout design, DRC, LVS and verification.

The courses will be held on October 26-27 at Fraunhofer Institute in Erlangen, Germany; November 2-3 at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxford, UK; November 9-10 at DTU in Copenhagen, Denmark; and November 16-17 at IMEC in Leuven, Belgium. The training course costs Euro 50 for day one or Euro 100 for days one and two.
