Diodes Incorporated wins low power design award
Diodes Incorporated has won the National Microelectronics Institute’s Low Power “Green” Design Award for 2008. In its inaugural year, the award sponsored by Synopsys, was made to Diodes for its ZXGD3101T8 MOSFET rectifier controller.
The Remarks from the independent panel of judges stated, ‘For the low power design award category, the judges were particularly impressed by the quality of the submissions across a wide range of applications, however a clear winner emerged with a low power design that was both innovative and elegant, and which had potentially the biggest positive impact on energy consumption and the biggest market reach.’
On receiving the award on behalf of Diodes Incorporated, Supply Chain Manager, Kim Monaghan said, “To receive the low power design award, particularly in its very first year, is a tremendous accolade for Diodes and really does reflect the level of design innovation put into the rectifier controller product and most importantly, the fantastic power saving impact it will have the world over.”
