DEK's leading solutions on display at Productronica India 2012
DEK, together with local agent Maxim SMT, will be showcasing its industry leading printing technologies at Productronica India 2012. The trade show will be held from 11 September to 13 September 2012 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
At tLeslie Chang, General Manager of Rest of Asia, DEK said, “India has become a key market for DEK, as its manufacturing industry has grown rapidly. At DEK, we see this as an opportunity to offer our expertise and cutting-edge technologies – all of which will continue to boost the industry’s capabilities and competitiveness.”
DEK’s Horizon 03iX printer offers manufacturers best-in-class performance with a comprehensive array of sophisticated features including optimised printer frame technology, fast product changeover, 2 Cpk print process capability and proven 6-sigma production performance. In addition, the print platform’s flexibility allows customised configuration with productivity tools such as ProActiv, Cyclone, HawkEye and HD Grid-Lok.
DEK’s popular VectorGuard stencil technologies also offer significant advantages over conventional stencil technologies. Reusable and recyclable, the frameless tensioning technology prioritises operator safety, system rigidity and ease-of-use for ongoing print process optimisation.
DEK’s latest HawkEye Bridging technology builds on the success of the original HawkEye system, incorporating all of the benefits of its predecessor and extends them even further with the added capability of shorts and contamination detection. Designed with operators in mind, HawkEye is a high-speed paste-on-pad verification system that delivers an instant go/no-go instruction to the operator. Now, with the added functionality of HawkEye Bridging, operators have even more control and problem prevention capability.
Along with HawkEye Bridging, DEK will showcase its breakthrough ProActiv technology. ProActiv reduces the historic 0.60 Area Ratio to a remarkable 0.40 while using a single thickness stencil. For those familiar with the challenges associated with highly miniaturised devices and/or heterogeneous assemblies, the print process latitude ProActiv enables is a welcome addition to the technology toolbox. Throughout the three-day event, DEK will host regular live demonstrations of its leading products and solutions including HawkEye Bridging and ProActiv.
Since effective prints are dependent on effective stencils, DEK has also developed a highly-effective stencil nano coating to improve the performance of new and existing stencils. Simple, low cost and remarkably effective, DEK’s Nano-ProTek is a unique, proprietary coating formula that renders the entire stencil surface fluxophobic. By preventing flux from wetting the stencil surface, while pulling with it metal particles across the web of the stencil, Nano-ProTek simply and cost-effectively increases stencil cleaning effectiveness and reduces cleaning frequency.
In addition to these latest breakthroughs, DEK’s display will include its high throughput PumpPrint stencil and unmatched customer support tools – all delivering on DEK’s ‘Expect More’ philosophy.
