Maxim Integrated Products will exhibit reference designs and demos for new DeepCover embedded security products at CARTES 2012 November 6 to 8 in Paris, France. DeepCover embedded security solutions cloak sensitive data under multiple layers of advanced physical security to provide the highest level of protection for your assets.
Designs and demos showcased at CARTES include:

The JIBEPOS meshless financial-terminal reference design. This PCI-ready POS terminal integrates all essential components for designers to build the terminal, quickly pass PCI PTS 3.1 standards, and dramatically accelerate their time to market. The reference design features the MAX32590, an ARM926EJ-S™ microcontroller that is an interoperable, secure, and cost-effective solution for building new generations of trusted POS terminals.

Trusted display technology for secure financial terminals. The technology is very versatile because it uses any general-purpose host processor. When entering trusted mode, TFT signals are fed to the TFT panel from a secured chip that only allows verified pictures to be displayed. Now new, powerful, multimedia financial terminals can be designed in a quick, efficient, and very secure way.

Security managers demo. A single cryptographic node controller is an easy way to wrap complete hardware security around existing designs. The MAX36025 provides pass-through hardware AES encryption, secure critical data storage, and tamper detection and reaction.

The CARTES 2012 exposition will be at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center in Paris, France on November 6 to 8. Visit Maxim’s stand 3E072 and explore the DeepCover embedded security demos.
