Cypress and BG Partners Announce Winners of Fourth Annual Profesor E.I. Tochitsky Fellowship Award

The winners of the fellowship were honored for their entrepreneurial designs using Cypress’s flagship PSoC Programmable System on Chip. There are three main components of the award: an interview with Cypress concerning a potential internship; the opportunity to work with BG Partners to create a business plan for an innovative product; and a student financial award.



“We’re very happy with the large scale PSoC deployment in Russia under the leadership of Professor Alexander P.Ryjov, Managing Director of BG Partners,” said Patrick Kane, director of the Cypress University Alliance. “For example, Professor Kharitonov's group from Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics has developed a series of original PSoC labs, and integrated Cypress's hardware kits and software tools into their curriculum. This is a great example of how Cypress’s University Program is expanding globally as PSoC continues to grow worldwide.”



BG Partners Group, Cypress University Alliance, and Professor E.I. Tochitsky’s family established the fellowship in 2007 to recognize and support outstanding student-professor entrepreneurial efforts. Founded in memory of Professor Eduard Ivanovich Tochitsky (1935-2007), a business and technology leader, the fellowship is open to talent from Belarus, the Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Norway, and Singapore.

SVTC Technologies also joined the fellowship in support and recognition of the innovative talent within the university technology programs.
