CSR Attains Bluetooth 4.0 Qualification for its range of CSR8600TM Audio Products

CSR plc today announced that all of its products based on the CSR8600TM wireless audio platform are now fully compliant with the Bluetooth 4.0® specification that enables Bluetooth low energy (BLE) functionality. Delivering a highly immersive, high fidelity audio experience, the CSR8670TM flash based system-on-chip, the CSR8645TM / 40 stereo ROM and CSR8620TM /10 Mono ROM platforms now enable OEMs who use them to promote their wireless voice and music products as being Bluetooth 4.0 compliant.
