The Board of Directors of CoActive Technologies today announced that it has named Paul H. Jona as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. CoActive Technologies manufactures electromechanical switches, interface controls, keypads and dome arrays, for a variety of industries including industrial equipment, mobile communications, computer and automotive and is a portfolio company of private investment firm Littlejohn & Co.
Mr. Jona formerly spent 12 years with Amphenol Corp. (NYSE: APH), an interconnect systems company with 2006 revenues of $2.5 billion, where he most recently served as a Senior Vice President responsible for the Global Cable Systems Group.

“Paul has demonstrated consistent leadership and success in growing businesses and he brings to CoActive a global perspective, having led businesses in every major region of the world,” said Brian Ramsay, a Managing Director of Littlejohn & Co. and member of the company’s Board of Directors. “With his background at Amphenol, Paul is already familiar with our business and we are enthusiastic about his ability to effectively accelerate our growth initiatives and integrate future acquisitions as we work to transform CoActive Technologies and build on its leading position as a provider of switching solutions.”

Littlejohn & Co. completed earlier this year the corporate carveout of CoActive, the former global switch business of ITT Corporation.

Prior to joining Amphenol in 1995, Paul held several senior positions during thirteen years in four different countries with the Electronic Materials Division of EI DuPont de Nemours & Co. Paul holds a Master's Degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Phoenix, Arizona, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington and is an alumnus of Nijenrode, the Netherlands School of Business.

Commenting on his new position, Mr. Jona, said, “I hope to capitalize on my knowledge, customer relationships, and experience across our key end markets and related product groups to enhance the growth and profitability of our company. I am very excited about working closely with the team at CoActive and Littlejohn to build on the company’s progress to date. The company’s client base includes many of the world’s leading global companies and we will work to leverage the company’s innovative technology and capture many of the numerous opportunities before us.”
