ByteSnap Design celebrates as the first electronics design company to gain the Accredit UK quality standard

To gain the certification, ByteSnap Design has undergone a rigorous assessment that covers everything from how the company manages its employees through to the processes that are in place to ensure consistent high quality performance.

ByteSnap Design plans to use the newly gained Accredit UK standard to continue to grow its business. The company has a strong track record in keeping its clients happy, with much of its business generated by referrals and repeat business.

In the last year alone it has completed work on Windows CE BSP, Windows Mobile and iPhone application development and electronic product design.

Dunstan Power, Director of ByteSnap Design and one of the company founders, commented on the company’s decision to participate in the Accredit UK quality certification: “The marketplace for companies that provide electronics design services is vast and we experience competition from generalist design consultancies, offshored design services and even one man bands. We believe that having an independent assessment of our company and gaining the prestigious Accredit UK quality mark will further demonstrate that we provide a high quality service.

We were positive that we would meet the rigorous criteria of the Accredit UK standard as our team of engineers has already developed Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded software successfully for a wide range of electronics products. The new certification goes to improve the existing framework we worked to and incorporate best practises in our software development activity.”
