Broadcom Technology Powers the Hottest Products at International CES 2011
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2011, Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced that it will showcase a variety of new technologies for digital video, wireless and mobile communications devices at this week's International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Broadcom will preview a wide range of consumer technologies at the company's private suite at CES, located in Meeting Room 25469MP, South Hall 2/Lower Level, in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The products and technologies to be previewed at CES include:
Home Connectivity: Broadcom delivers the next generation full resolution 3DTV Internet connected home ecosystem, accelerating the delivery of Internet apps, content and services to connected devices. Broadcom's connected home platforms feature high performance processing, full resolution 3DTV support and whole-home connectivity. As service providers expand their connected home networks, Broadcom's connected home portfolio supports the most popular industry specifications including Bluetooth®, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA®), Ethernet, Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA®), powerline networking, RVU Remote User Interface (RUI) technology, and Wi-Fi®, on multiple devices including set-top boxes (STBs), HDTVs, tablets, Blu-ray Disc® players and routers. This gives users multiple options for accessing and streaming Internet, OTT and user-generated HD and 3DTV content throughout the home and beyond.
Wireless Convergence: Broadcom is bringing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth into a multitude of consumer electronics devices, from PCs and home networking gear, to smartphones, televisions, netbooks, Blu-ray Disc players, tablets and video equipment with demonstrations including the latest high-speed, power-efficient Bluetooth for 3D glasses, and the ability to intelligently navigate TV content using a QWERTY keyboard. Also demonstrated will be Broadcom's dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi SoC solution for high definition digital TV systems, providing users with seamless access to media-rich online content while enabling wireless HD video sharing.
