Arrow Electronics' distribution logistics centre (DLC) in Venlo, the Netherlands, has received EN 9120:2010 quality certification. This is a quality management system designed specifically for aerospace distributors. The EN 9120:2010 certification follows an audit and provision by Arrow representatives of detailed evidence of compliance.

This certification is increasingly being required by aerospace and defence customers when sourcing military-qualified and commercial off-the-shelf products for their systems.

“This certification represents a major boost to our commercial activities,” said Bill Ramsdale, Sales Manager Aerospace & Defence EMEA. “It rewards months of hard work by our team in Venlo and provides confirmation to our aerospace and defence customers that our activities meet the highest and most demanding quality standards.”

Arrow Electronics offers aerospace and defence customers a wide range of military-qualified and commercial off-the-shelf products from more than 300 manufacturers including semiconductors, passives, electromechanical products, and interconnect products.  The company provides support for its space-focused line card via a dedicated European team of aerospace experts, and is an ITAR registered company with the U.S. State Department.
