Altium appoints Samuel S. Weiss as new Chairman

Altium the developer of unified electronic product development solutions, has announced the appointment of Samuel S. Weiss as Non-Executive Chairman. He replaces Carl Rooke as Chairman following Carl’s announcement to retire the chair position after seven years. Carl will continue in his position of non-executive director for the board and as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Sam was appointed to Altium’s Board on 1 January 2007 and currently serves on the boards of Oroton Group Ltd, GLG Corp Ltd, IPGA Ltd, the Benevolent Society and The Sydney Festival. Sam previously was the non-executive Chairman of Oroton Group and brings valuable business experience from his former roles as Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Gateway Computers and COO for Nike Europe.
