/> As senior vice president, Ms. Schuelke is responsible for all of the company's legal matters, including support for revenue-generating activities, as well as corporate governance issues, legal compliance, litigation, intellectual property protection, acquisitions and other transactions. She is a role model and mentor for many women at Altera, is an active participant in Altera's leadership development programs, and is the executive sponsor of the company's diversity initiative.

The YWCA selected forty-six outstanding executive women from Silicon Valley to receive the TWIN Award this year. The participants represent a cross-section of companies in the Valley including technology, law, marketing and communications, non-profit, healthcare and now the green technology industry. Award recipients will be honored on May 3, 2011 at the 27th Annual Tribute to Women (TWIN) Awards Program gala at the San Jose Fairmont.
