Alpha Micro to launch latest wireless security solutions from Lantronix, Advantech, u-blox and EnOcean at IFSEC 2011
Alpha Micro Components today announced that it will be introducing a wide range of wired and wireless security solutions at IFSEC 2011 (16-19 May, NEC Birmingham).
VisiAccessMyDevice from Lantronix is an enterprise-grade, Internet-based managed service which is designed to provide business and IT professionals with an easy and secure way to connect, control and manage any device from their PC or mobile device. AccessMyDevice is engineered with the functionality and security demanded by today’s business users who need to remotely access devices, servers, equipment and data, even those behind firewalls and VPNs, from virtually anywhere via the Internet.
Designed to provide portable devices with high speed wireless Internet access, the LISA range of ultra-fast wireless modems from u-blox are designed to provide portable devices with high speed wireless Internet access, and are the world’s smallest 3.75G modules. Applications include video and high speed data transmission and telematics systems. Any wireless system requiring a high speed Internet connection will benefit from LISA’s high performance and efficient power consumption. It also provides secure data exchange for sensitive applications including automatic meter reading, telehealth, remote displays and control systems.
The STM 3xx family of wireless energy harvesting sensors from EnOcean GmbH feature energy harvesting interfaces for the implementation of self-powered products. The minimal standby power consumption makes it especially suitable for energy harvesting wireless solutions such as bi-directional temperature sensors, sensors in building management and innovative actuators. EnOcean is the originator of patented self-powered wireless technology which gathers energy from kinetic, thermal or solar sources found in any industrial or building complex – the energy generated from the push of a light switch or a difference in temperature emitted from a machine or radiator is enough to power the transmission of wireless signals.
Christos Papakyriacou, Managing Director of Alpha Micro Components, commented: “This will be Alpha Micro’s first time exhibiting at IFSEC but the growth of this industry, alongside the growth of wireless technology, makes this an important event for us. For over 15 years, Alpha Micro has been dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality wireless solutions across a variety of markets. Over this time, we have built up extensive knowledge of the security industry. By combining our market knowledge with our in-house design team, we are able to ensure that each of our customers receives first class service and support from the outset of their project through to its completion. We are very excited to showcase all of the latest wired and wireless security developments from our franchise partners as well as our own AMC range of security antennas.”
