Agilent Technologies to Demonstrate Newest Microwave and RF Design and Test Solutions
Agilent Technologies today announced it will show its newest microwave and RF design, test and measurement solutions for the aerospace, defense, research, education, communications, transportation and medical markets at European Microwave Week (Booth 114), Oct. 29- 31, at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam.
As aDemonstrations will include:
How to carry precision into the field using Agilent's FieldFox handheld microwave analyzers. Fourteen new models deliver benchtop accuracy and MIL-spec durability for on-the-go applications such as full two-port S-parameters, return loss, VSWR and spectrum-interference monitoring at 26.5GHz. The compact 3.0 kg, FieldFox can be configured for cable-and-antenna analysis, spectrum analysis, vector network analysis, or all-in-one capability with frequency coverage from 4, 6.5, 9, 14, 18 or 26.5 GHz. The N934xC family of handheld spectrum analyzers includes new capabilities that enhance versatility for in-field applications such as instrument remote control and peak power measurement of pulsed signals.
How to measure linear and nonlinear measurements from RF to millimeter wave with a single instrument using Agilent's PNA-X vector network analyzer. The PNA-X offers the widest range of measurement applications and includes S-parameters, noise figure, intermodulation distortion and more. Learn how to deliver fast, accurate, nonlinear behavioral models with Agilent's 67-GHz Nonlinear Vector Analyzer (NVNA) and X-Parameters* generated from the NVNA or Agilent's Advanced Design System.
How to enable true performance with the X-Series of signal generators and analyzers. Agilent's X-Series signal generators include the top-of-the-line MXG and the cost-effective EXG. Visitors will see how to simplify signal creation with Signal Studio software, covering technologies such as LTE-Advanced, MSR, 802.11ac WLAN, GNSS and more. They will also be able to experience the Agilent N9030A PXA and N9010A EXA signal analyzers, along with smart mixers to extend operating frequencies up to 110 GHz for millimeter-wave applications. Solutions partner Virginia Diodes, will also be on hand to demonstrate an offering that goes beyond 110 GHz and is compatible with Agilent's X-Series signal analyzers. Agilent's N9000A CXA X-Series signal analyzer will show its new extended frequency options, which include 13.6 and 26.5 GHz. The CXA is a versatile, low-cost tool for essential measurements, provides best-in-class performance and measurement speed, and includes a full-band preamplifier. It is well-suited for general-purpose microwave component manufacturing, low-cost microwave R&D design verification, cellular wireless bench repair, research labs and military radar maintenance. Agilent will show the PXA signal analyzer as a broadband down converter using 89600 VSA software to demodulate and analyze wideband radar and communications signals.
How to gain easier access to full 3-D electromagnetic modeling capabilities using EMPro 2012. The latest release now includes a new level of integration with Advanced Design System 2012 software, along with several simulator enhancements to improve performance and accelerate product development. Its direct integration streamlines the design process.
How to take full advantage of the world's fastest PXI vector signal generator, the Agilent M9381A. This 6-GHz instrument enhances testing and validation with switching as fast as 10 µs with excellent RF parametric performance: high output power, superior level accuracy and 160-MHz modulation bandwidth. The M9381A is designed for applications such as testing and validating the design of wireless power amplifiers and transceivers, public-safety systems, military radios, and cellular base stations, primarily picocell and femtocell.
How to harness the power of Agilent AXIe instruments with cutting-edge solutions in a flexible and compact form factor. Agilent will demonstrate AXIe stimulus and response modules, the M9703A 12-bit high-speed digitizer and the M8190A 12/14-bit wide-bandwidth arbitrary waveform generator. This AXIe system generates and analyzes wideband signals for high-channel-count and multi-antenna applications such as radar, direction-finding and satellite beam-forming.
Agilent will showcase other general-purpose instrumentation, including peak power measurement solutions such as the Agilent 8990B, a peak power analyzer that offers faster measurements and greater accuracy in peak power-pulse analysis for the aerospace, defense and wireless markets.
Agilent will also host several technology partners at the show, showcasing antenna, probing, load pull and noise parameter applications.
