Advanced Power Components has distribution agreement with Catalyst Semiconductor

Advanced Power Components has recently signed a distribution agreement with Catalyst Semiconductor, a leading innovator in analogue, mixed signal & non-volatile memory IC’s for the telecommunications, networking systems, computation, automotive, industrial and consumer markets.
Catalyst provides a broad range of DPP, Flash Memory, Supervisors, LED drivers and EEprom including the new CAT24AA02 – 2Kbit Serial EEprom which was released in January this year and is ideal for consumer applications where external address pins are not required. Catalyst has also patented the award winning Quad Mode charge pump architecture, which is 10% more efficient and 65% smaller than its competitors with no additional components or cost.

The new product line will be distributed in the UK by Advanced Power Components’ APC-Hero division, which specialises in the distribution of commercial and industrial electronic components. A specialist team of technical product managers provides assistance in key areas including sensors, wireless technologies, LEDs, lamps, indicators, displays and drivers, ICs with full design support from concept to production.

Mark Stokes, Catalyst’s Sales Manager for Northern Europe, said: “I am very pleased to appoint APC as Catalyst Semiconductor’s distributor for the UK and Ireland.
