High quality, high precision electromechanical Switches available from Omron
Omron Electronic Components announced an autumn promotion campaign in conjunction with its European distribution sales channel. The campaign, supported through its distribution partners, is aimed at design engineers and component specifiers and will focus on Omron’s wide range of high quality, high precision electromechanical switches. The following switch products are included in the campaign: D2F micro-switch, B3SL tactile switch, A6SN DIP switch and D2HW micro-switch.
AndrAlex Grout, European Distribution Manager, Omron, added, “The European distribution sales channel has a fantastic opportunity to market and sell an extensive range of Omron switches. Our distributors have all major configurations available in stock, further complemented by the highest service levels and technically qualified support staff.” He added, “Switches are used in almost every electronic product. We firmly believe our switch product portfolio represents an excellent opportunity to develop and secure new business opportunities in many different market sectors.”
Omron’s micro-switch range meet the requirements of most industries including security, vending, industrial, process control and embedded applications. The product line-up includes industry standard types, low torque sealed switches and a number of industry specific models.
The comprehensive range of Omron tactile switches is suitable for keyboards with a membrane overlay or standalone use with a keypad. The range includes IP67 sealed versions which allow immersion cleaning of the PCB and guard against contamination of the switching contacts in dusty environments.
DIP switches are available to suit most production methods and include fully sealed types. Omron DIP switches can be supplied in tubes for auto insertion and are available with a number different of actuator variations.
Omron continues to actively pursue the design and development of innovative switching components that are proven in high reliability energy management, medical equipment and automation systems.
